This tour will start and end in Nairobi. You will be picked up at the airport. The tour will be covering Maasai Mara, home to the Wildebeest Migration, the 8th Wonder of the World. It is home to Kenya’s Big 5: The Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, and Buffalo. You will be able to enjoy a first class game viewing experience here in the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Day 1: Maasai Mara Tour
- On arrival you will meet with our safari driver guide at the airport, and thereafter drive via Narok town to Masai Mara National Reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe with a brief stop-over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint will give you the chance for some great photographs. After this stop-over, you will head on to Maasai Mara through Narok town.
- The proud young Masai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, will spark your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands.
- Arrive at park gate after 5 hour drive; then game drive along the way to the lodge. Arrive at Mara Serena in time for lunch, take a short break, then afternoon game drive around 4:00 pm.
- Return to the hotel before dusk for dinner and stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drive
- After breakfast, head out toward the Mara River for a full day game drive. Search for the wildebeest crossing and the big 5 animals of Kenya. Carry picnic lunch box to have lunch on the beautiful plains by the Mara River. Return to the hotel before 6:30 pm.
- Optional: Early morning balloon safaris. You will be dropped off at the takeoff site by the balloon company and picked up from your landing site by our safari driver. Balloon safaris are a romantic and evocative way of experiencing the wilderness of East Africa, as you gracefully and silently fly over the plains teeming with herds of wildlife in the early morning. Typically, a balloon safari begins at break of dawn, about 6 am, and lasts for around 1 hour, during which you will fly over parts of the vast Masai Mara plain, seeing the magnificent wildlife below, spread over several square kilometers of the reserve. Balloon flights are available daily in Masai Mara and take off from designated sites where the disturbance to animals is kept to a minimum. The flight is followed by a champagne breakfast “in the bush”, with a well laid out seating arrangement and waiters on hand, to give you a fitting final to your memorable flight in the wild . The driver will pick you up after you champagne breakfast and you will begin your full day game drive. The cost is USD 480 per adult.
- Optional: Maasai Village. After the afternoon game drive, you can visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. The cost is USD 30 per adult.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
- Wake up at 6:00 am to enjoy the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve, return to the hotel for breakfast at 8:00 am. Thereafter commence drive back to Nairobi, arrival time will be around 1:30 pm. The driver will drop you at your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport. This ends our trip with you, we hope you have had an experience of a lifetime.
- Optional Activity: Stop by Lake Naivasha for an 1 hour hippo boat ride. Lake Naivasha has over 400 bird species and is inhabited by many hippos; during the boat ride, you will be able to move to close distances to the hippo and see their leisurely way of life. The captain of the boat will also serve as your tour guide. Cost is USD 30 per person.
